Ceremony
The sounds of the casters
as we pushed the casket
stood out amidst the silence
Folding the flag thirteen times
in a meticulous display
of honor
Guns raised to heaven
their firing drowning
out the sorrow of your family
There under God's green blanket
everything was buried
except our pride
