Refined by what we bore
the shape of our trials
formed this familiar contour of love
Pain and conflict eroded shame
chipping away brokenness
until you fit I and I fit you . . .

That's not "rambling" my friend, you have a gift. And you ask a rhetorical ? but it's always good to be reminded of the truth. Speaking of truth below- I know of one who called Himself the truth (and the way and the life)
